Y6 Kapa Haka
Every Monday during school time the year 6 Boys/Girls have Kapa
Haka Practice for our Dawson Primary School Concert. Our practice is after morning tea approximately 11.30 AM. For our practice the boys/girls are doing a song called Kapioio e. Also our leaders or teachers are Demetrious and Kere, Kere is Maori and Demetrious is Samoan. We also have actions to the song Kapioio e. We have another song called He Horene. The boys are lucky we get to do a Haka called Tika Tonu. This link will take you to the song on YouTube called kapioio e hope you enjoy this song. This song has a catchy tune.
